Workshop Controller Job Opportunity

The Role:
* Manage the daily tasks, productivity and efficiency of a team of technicians to ensure they are working effectively.
* Prioritize Repair Orders in the workshop to guarantee timely completion.
* Collaborate with the Service Adviser Team to identify additional work required for customers.
* Ensure that repair orders are completed accurately for warranty purposes and seek clarification when necessary.
* Maintain OEM workshop tools and equipment, adhering to safety protocols and notify management if replacement or new tools are needed.
* Keep adequate personal hand tools to facilitate all repairs with minimal movement from the vehicle.
* Maintain the cleanliness of the working area and customer vehicles.
* Assist in expediting parts orders and notify the service advisor of any delays or part requirements.
* Focus on repeat repairs to prevent future issues.
* Comply with established procedures and policies.
Requirements:
* Relevant vehicle trade qualifications are essential.
* Previous experience as a Workshop Controller is highly desirable.
* A valid NSW driver's license is mandatory.
* An Air-Conditioning License is preferred but not compulsory.
* ASCIS & AUVIS Licenses are also preferred but not essential.
* Ability to follow work, health and safety policies and procedures.
* Demonstrate attention to detail and good communication skills.
* Work well within a team and adhere to processes and instructions.
