With more than 35 years' experience, MCCGC is well known and regarded for its role in helping people from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds connect with the local community and have equal access to appropriate health and well-being services.

We provide services to mainstream and CALD communities across the Aged, Disability and Community service sectors.

Job Description:
Join the Gold Coast peak body for multiculturalism, Multicultural Communities Council Gold Coast (MCCGC), as a Content Creation Coordinator focusing on content creation and digital marketing to elevate our brands.
This role will play a vital role in raising awareness for the multicultural community on the Gold Coast, enhancing the lives of those we serve.
This role will be pivotal in implementing impactful marketing that will play a crucial role in implementing strategies to enhance brand visibility, engagement, and conversion across various channels.
Additionally, the Content Creation Coordinator will collaborate closely with the Communications Team Leader to assist in graphic design, internal and external communication.
Content Creation / Drive Growth / Graphic Design / Social Media Management.
Responsibilities:
* Execute the organisation's communications strategy to create brand awareness and drive growth of organisational brands through our different channels.
* Implement communications initiatives to support the growth of leads into the business.
* Create video content and support the design process of communications materials
* Conduct market analysis and gather consumer insights to understand market trends, customer preferences, and competitors' activities to inform the organisation wide marketing strategy.
* Implementingcommunications campaigns to launch and promote specific services.
* Manage promotional items inventory and distribution.
* Work effectively with digital marketing which includes Search Engine Optimisation, Digital Directories, Digital Advertising (MRECS), Electronic Direct Marketing (EDM), and maintaining Google Business listings.
* Manage our websites, Google Ad Words and solicit Google Reviews from staff, clients, and the community.
* Supporting SharePoint internal communication function across the business.
Desired Skills and Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Media, Public Relations, orCommunication
* Excellent communication, copywriting, and proofreading abilities, specifically for Culturally and Linguistically Diverse audiences.
* 3 – 5 years' experience in a marketing or communication role
* Designing skills in Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, andInDesign) and Canva.
* Digital knowledge of content management systems i.e. WordPress, SharePoint, etc.
* Knowledge and interest in social media marketing – Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.
* Current National Police Certificate
* Current Working with Children Check (QLD)
* Background in Aged Care, Disability, or community sector
* Experience with Electronic Direct Mail (EDM)
* Experience and/or interest in working in a Culturally andLinguistically Diverse environment.
