Furniture Delivery & Warehouse Assistant
We are one of the largest furniture importers in Perth providing top quality furniture to retailers and designers for the past 40 years. We support businesses across the Perth metro area with reliable delivery, installation, and customer service.
We are currently looking for a professional, reliable, and customer‐focused Furniture Delivery & Warehouse Assistant to join our team. This permanent position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‐on work, takes pride in their presentation, and is confident interacting with customers. You will be responsible for loading furniture orders from our warehouse, safely transporting them to customer sites, and completing professional installations along with helping in the warehouse.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Loading the truck for customer deliveries
* Delivering & placement of furniture to customer sites.
* Representing the company professionally as the main point of contact during deliveries
* Ensuring all products are clean, well‐presented, and ready for customer sign‐off
* Using hand tools and power tools (training provided where needed)
* Unloading cartons from containers, truck and couriers
* Maintaining a strong focus on safety, customer service, and quality
* Shared truck driving duties
KEY SKILLS, COMPETENCIES & ATTRIBUTES
* Well presented, polite, and confident engaging with customers
* Physically fit and able to lift and move furniture safely
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and in a team
* Strong problem‐solving skills and attention to detail
* Willingness to work overtime when required
* Holds a current valid Australian Driver's Licence
* Holds a MR truck licence
* Previous experience in delivery, installation, or factory/production work is beneficial but not required
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently.
* Understanding of and commitment to work, health and safety requirements.
Remuneration offered will be competitive based upon relevant work experience.
