Location: Yeppoon, QLD - Casual with growth potential
We are a locally owned and operated construction business seeking a reliable and driven Administration Assistant to join our team on a casual basis, with the view to increase hours and potentially move into a full-time role.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will provide high-level admin support across daily operations, including document control, client communications, and assisting with tender submissions. This is a high customer service role, and we are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. General administrative support including email management, phone handling, and scheduling
2. Assisting with quoting, tender documentation, and submission processes
3. Supporting the Operations Manager with daily tasks and workflow
4. Managing basic office systems and maintaining accurate records
5. Handling customer enquiries and building strong client relationships
6. Occasional social media updates (mainly Facebook & Instagram) and responding to Google reviews
7. Light marketing tasks (templates, communications, image updates)
What We’re Looking For
* Previous administration experience in the construction industry is essential
* Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
* A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to take initiative
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
* Tech-savvy with basic knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook & Instagram)
* A team player who’s eager to grow with the company and take on more responsibility over time
