Your Role
As our Centre Cook, you'll create nourishing meals that reflect the diversity of our families.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Designing inclusive, culturally rich weekly menus with input from children and families
* Preparing fresh, seasonal meals that reflect our learning community and dietary needs
* Supporting educators and children with food-based learning experiences
* Managing food safety, inventory, and kitchen hygiene with excellence
* Collaborating with our educational team to embed food into the curriculum
About You
You are more than just a cook—you are a storyteller, a nurturer, and a creative thinker. You'll thrive in our team if you have:
* A qualification in Hospitality or Commercial Cookery
* Proven experience in a kitchen (early childhood experience preferred but not essential)
* A love of fresh produce and sustainable, scratch-made cooking
* Awareness of food allergies, dietary needs, and safe food handling procedures
* A can-do attitude, flexible spirit, and warm approach to working with children
* A desire to make food an experience—not just a meal
