Laburnum Psychology are currently looking for personable, warm, easy-going psychologists to join our lovely team. We are committed to providing accessible, client-centered therapy to our clients, and we are struggling to keep up with the high and consistent demand for our services. We are looking for a candidate who is available to work between 3-5 days per week.

* We have strong leadership and team interest in Schema Therapy, as well as clinicians working with DBT, Emotion Focused Therapy, EMDR, perinatal psychology, eating disorders, and neurodivergence. We also do a lot of work in the ADHD and autism space, ranging from assessment through to neuro-affirming and strengths-based therapeutic work.
* We are a very well-established practice, with an extensive referral base. This means that we get a diversity of client presentations. We have a full-time dedicated Intake Worker whose role is to carefully match new referrals to the most appropriate psychologist. Our intake workers take the time to fully understand each psychologist's therapeutic approach, interests, and preferred client presentations so we can optimise the right fit from the beginning.
* If you are interested in providing assessments (Cognitive, Educational, ADHD, ASD) as part of your caseload we can accommodate that. We have built our reputation in providing high quality assessments and reports over the past few years and have a steady flow of referrals for this service also. We ensure all time that is spent analysing data and writing the report is accounted for in work hours. There is flexibility for report writing hours to be completed from home.
* We offer salaried positions, providing a consistent and reliable income so you don't feel pressured to overbook your diary. Our aim is for every team member to feel well-remunerated and genuinely valued for the work they do.
* There is also the opportunity to earn commission in addition to your base salary if you choose. Our salaries are highly competitive and sit at the upper end of market rates, with the final salary determined by your experience and expertise.
* We are open to both experienced and early career psychologists. We will work with experienced psychologists to look for career advancement opportunities within the practice.
* We have an amazing practice manager and admin team who do everything they can to make life as easy as possible for our psychologists. They are seriously the best!
* Our broader clinical team is broken down into 3 smaller teams with a dedicated Team Leader. Your team leader can provide you with a great deal of support in your work, particularly as you settle in.
* We provide many opportunities for Professional Development. Our team all love learning and growing together in our areas of shared interest.
* We will provide you with a structured induction process so you can settle in well and make a great start in your work with us. You will not turn up to a full caseload as its important to settle in and build up slowly with new clients.
