Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Clinical Marketing, Education & Events Manager is responsible for shaping the Medical Education and Events strategy including branding, faculty engagement and key opinion leader (KOL) management.
The Clinical Marketing, Education & Events Manager will also identify opportunities to maximise access to Advanced Technologies with customers and patients and, develop programs and tools to support.

To be successful, you will have a high level of business acumen, be a creative thinker and be able to balance competing priorities, all while honing your skills as a modern-day educator.Core CompetenciesMedical Education and Events (ME&E): Develop and implement the medical education and events strategy including building upon the brand heritage of Alcon-led meetings and presence at 3rd party congresses.Advanced Technologies: Uncover customer unmet needs and tailor programs, tools and resources to address gaps.Training and Education: Demonstrate a depth of clinical and technical knowledge to create and maintain comprehensive educational programs to support local teams.
This will include collaborating with Regional and Global partners to leverage assets and expertise as required and, supplement with local resources as needed.KOL Engagement: Manage Key Opinion Leader (KOL) strategy and coordinate, facility engagement, agenda management and requests.
Manage associated KOL contractual requirements and honorarium utilising internal tools.Financial Acumen – Be an active contributor to overall budget management through effective agency partnership, PO and invoice administration including managing the A&P Budget to ensure financial accuracy and accountability.Leadership Qualities – Bring a positive attitude with 'out-of-the-box' thinking to overcome barriers to execution.
