Key Role: Quality Assurance Specialist
As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality enterprise software. Your primary focus will be on validating that our products meet stringent quality metrics, producing reliable and efficient solutions for our customers.
* Formulate test cases based on requirements and acceptance criteria to validate the expected outcomes of new features in an agile-driven development environment.
* Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including business analysts and developers, to clarify ambiguities and ensure fit-for-purpose test case development.
* Work with other product team testers to ensure end-to-end business processes covering integration points are fully tested.
* Perform functional, user acceptance, and regression testing of new features and fixes, replicating customer scenarios including volumes, to deliver quality and high-performing outcomes.
* Support test planning, maintain comprehensive test plans, and build risk-based execution strategies, including development of automated tests.
* Stay current with customer business processes and relate this knowledge to identify clear and concise test cases for each persona in the business process.
* Conduct testing activities within agreed timescales and quality standards, driving delivery to set deadlines.
* Log defects found during testing, verify defect fixes, and manage defects.
* Adhere to testing practices as defined in the test framework and use available test tools to improve the management, automation, reporting, and quality of product testing.
Essential Qualifications
* Demonstrate a basic understanding of end-to-end testing activities for software applications.
* Display familiarity with industry best practice testing tools, methodologies, and frameworks.
* Exhibit strong time-management skills, able to proactively prioritize and switch between tasks.
* Effectively communicate written and verbal information with stakeholders.
* Awareness of security and privacy considerations in software development.
* Basic exposure to Test Management and Automated Testing tools.
* Basic experience managing data sets for testing purposes.
* Understanding of working in an Agile work environment.
