We are Mansys Pty Ltd, recruitment consultants. Our client, Bepoz Global, based out of Melbourne (VIC), is actively looking for an experienced Computer Network and Systems Engineer (Implementation Technician) to join its team on a full-time basis at their Perth office. The business is Australia's leading supplier and developer of point of sale (POS) systems. They are renowned for supplying products that are customised to meet the demands of running a bar, restaurant, cafe, hotel, or club.
Main Responsibilities of the role include:
1. Performing day-to-day operations, including installation, deployment, configuration, testing, data migration, and administration of Bepoz System Software components, networks, databases, servers, and workstations.
2. Design and configure system architectures tailored to client requirements, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and seamless integration with existing infrastructure, while developing a customer-specific project plan.
3. Collaborate closely with clients during implementation and go-live phases to design data models, network requirements, backup strategies, and integration processes, ensuring client expectations are met.
4. Configure, update, and maintain networking devices such as routers, switches, and access points. Enable/Disable TCP and UDP ports, configure firewall rules, subnets, and VLANs depending on business needs. Install VPNs, SQL Servers, RDS, applications, and security patches.
5. Continuously assess, monitor, and research network infrastructures to optimize performance, providing recommendations for improvements in hardware, software, and Bepoz-developed features for hospitality venues across WA.
6. Provide professional remote and onsite support for diagnosing and resolving issues related to Microsoft Windows servers, network printers, scanners, MSR,
