In this role, you will be responsible for assisting Radiation Oncologists with all administrative tasks, including managing their daily clinic schedule, booking patient appointments and gathering required results, - as well as general reception duties. This is a patient-facing role, ideal for someone with strong organisational skills and a desire to help others, you’ll be the friendly face they greet every day! More specifically, you will: Work in a fast-paced administrative environment, where patient care remains the top priority. Act as the first point of contact to patients and referring doctors – both face-to-face and over the phone. Manage the daily clinic schedules of three Radiation Oncologists, including booking and billing consultations. Collate and manage patient records, including accurate data entry and filing. Work closely with other GenesisCare departments to ensure smooth clinic operations. We're interested in hearing from people who have: Demonstrate strong time-management and organisational skills. Have a collaborative and flexible approach, willing to adapt as competing priorities arise. Show strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise with a variety of patients, staff and referring practices. Previous knowledge and experience with Medicare and clinical administration systems such as EMDAT, MOSAIQ and PBRC are highly desirable.
