Job Description We have a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated Apprentice wanting to complete their Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering, supporting our Service team at our workshop in Malaga, WA. This Apprenticeship will suit a self motivated individual with an interest in all areas of hydraulics. You will receive on the job training and development by skilled Bosch Rexroth Technicians. Job tasks will include but not be limited to: Attend T.A.F.E as directed, to achieve the specified off-the-job competencies of the prescribed VET course. Carry out workshop-based component repair and testing for various pumps, motors, cylinders, and valves of Bosch Rexroth manufactured products to achieve the specified on-the-job competencies. Carry out workshop-based repairs to hydraulic power units and other equipment packages to achieve the specified on-the-job competencies. Move between various sections within Bosch Rexroth to gain knowledge and experience in other aspects of hydraulic service including external (field) service, aftermarket & sales. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Attend work and carry out duties as directed. Qualifications Position Requirements (Education/ Experience/ Knowledge) Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident School certificate or Higher School certificate. Sound achievement in Math and English. Strong Mechanical Aptitude. Demonstrate effective communication and team skills. A keen eye for detail. Motivation to learn new knowledge and skills. Be self-motivated and capable of multitasking. A strong team focus and personal work ethic.
