Time commitment
If you have an hour or two per week available and would love to chat with our residents, we would love to hear from you! We are currently looking someone to visit residents at our Thomas Scott residential care centre in Camillo. You will be able to visit the same person every visit and if you have time more than one.
Types of activities you could be involved with
Amana Living Volunteers work alongside the allied health team. For one-on-one visits you can be involved in activities like chatting together, board games, reading magazines or newspapers, reading and/or discussing books, simple art and craft, listening to music, watching movies and if you have a hidden talent like chess, knitting or gardening please let us know. Smiling and laughing are contagious, make a difference in someone\'s life today.
If you would like to assist in group activities, these are scheduled at specific times and days and can include bingo, bus trips, pamper sessions, art and craft, cooking, quizzes, walking groups and so much more.
