Anatoli Pizza & Pasta is looking for a passionate and skilled Cook to join our kitchen team.
We specialize in delicious Italian cuisine, and we’re seeking someone who brings both culinary expertise and a love for creating quality dishes in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Examining foodstuffs to ensure quality and freshness
Regulating temperatures of ovens, grills, and other cooking equipment
Preparing and cooking a variety of Italian dishes
Seasoning food during the cooking process
Portioning food, plating, and adding gravies, sauces, and garnishes
Storing food properly in temperature-controlled facilities
Preparing meals to meet special dietary requirements
May assist in menu planning and food quantity estimation
May train and supervise junior kitchen staff and apprentices
Requirements:
Minimum years of relevant cooking experience
AQF Certificate III in Commercial Cookery including at least 2 years of on-the-job training, or
AQF Certificate IV in a related field
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a busy kitchen environment
Strong attention to detail and a passion for high-quality food.
