In this pivotal role, you’ll drive the commercialisation of innovation, new products and changes to existing products, ensuring regulatory compliance, and the highest standards of quality assurance. Your leadership will be crucial in supporting both our Consumer ANZ and Professional ASIA business units, ensuring our products consistently meet and exceed stringent internal and external standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to: Utilise global-based Quality contacts and framework to deliver product that meets all quality and regulatory requirements Addressing quality related customer and consumer complaints with root cause and corrective actions with internal and external suppliers Managing product related quality escalations, providing guidance on implications and corrective actions Oversee the planning, managing, and participating in the pre- and post-commercialization quality engineering/auditing activities, creating new supplier qualification and audit (SQA) reports. Oversee the preparation, planning, managing, and participating and close out of all findings for product audits – i.e. PSRE. Influence business stakeholders and decision makers on the prioritization of projects and the realistic allocation of resources. Utilise global-based R&D contacts to maintain knowledge of technologies available and best practices while driving for extended claims and efficacy. Co-ordinate technical and sourcing function activities for the commericalisation of new products and changes to existing products, including sourcing, formulation, packaging, regulatory compliance, quality efforts and product data management. Assist with the development of new product sourcing strategies and tactics to improve cost of goods Ensure SCJ product and packing requirements meet regulatory requirements while driving efficiency Oversee regulatory compliance submissions to ensure our products are upheld against the standards of SCJ and external bodies such as but not limited to, TGA / APVMA (Aus) and Erma / Medsafe (NZ) ensure all products comply with local and international regulations Ensure our efficient registration processes to meet the innovation funnel and obstacles are identified early with systems to minimise the impact What You’ll Bring: Bachelor degree or above in Science, Chemical, Engineering or related majors 5- 10 years working experience in Quality, Technical Services and/or Regulations fields with proven ability to lead high performing teams is essential Familiar with and experienced in the process and technical management requirements of packaging, cosmetics, house-hold chemicals & project management Familiar with and experienced in basic quality tools, such as FMEA, Control Plan, SPC, AQL, Sample Size & Confidence Interval, DOE, SQA auditing, etc Strong communication skills, must be able to summarize and articulate technical information to diverse audiences both verbally and in writing Problem solving and decision-making skills with the ability to bring projects to final conclusion.
