Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for delivering the strategic and operational objectives of the business through the optimisation of safety, on-time performance, employee performance as well as regulatory requirements.
As a leader you will manage all aspects of Cabin Crew including their success, development, engagement, wellness and attendance.Key responsibilities:Lead and manage Cabin Crew across multiple enterprise agreements to build capability and operational consistencyImprove and enhance Cabin Crew performance, attendance and engagementProvide effective and timely feedback on all performance and conduct issuesConduct regular performance reviews in line with the agreed processCoach and develop Cabin Crew to improve and enhance their skill setProactively manage safety in line with the Safety StrategySupport projects that focus on improvement to operations and customer experienceAct as Duty Cabin Manager on a 24/7 on call roster – which includes some weekend, public holidays and early mornings.Participate in the recruitment and selection processes of new Cabin CrewYou'll have:Demonstrated experience managing large teams in an operational environmentProven ability to lead, motivate, develop and influence othersExceptional communication, facilitation, presentation and diplomacy skillsExperience working within an industrialised workplace environmentStrategic thinking styles and build effective teams and engagementAbility to operate in a fast-paced, time critical environmentA high level of emotional intelligence and personal integrityAbility to work an 'on-call' roster as requiredBe a part of something special and play your part in the Qantas story – get in touch today.Why the Qantas Group?
