About Australia Health Service Alliance Limited (AHSA)AHSA is a service company acting as an agent on behalf of 20 small to medium Private Health Funds across Australia.
AHSA's fundamental responsibility is the facilitation of contractual arrangements between hospitals, doctors and health service providers on behalf of its Member Funds.Based in Kew, we provide a range of services to Member Funds including management of provider relationships, negotiation of contracts, collection, dissemination and analysis of medical and hospital data, education and training; and contract management and verification.Key ResponsibilitiesReporting to the General Manager of Corporate Services, you will be responsible for:Implementing AHSA's Compliance management framework, function and tasksEnsuring frameworks are in place to meet regulatory, legal and organizational standardsContributing to the development and implementation of AHSA's Risk Management Framework, including insurance and control assuranceFacilitating compliance with Competition and Consumer Law (CCL), Privacy Law, and Health & Safety legislationSupporting business continuity, risk management strategies, internal audit processes and cyber risk response planningPartnering with the AHSA business units to embed best practices, policies and proceduresAbout YouYou possess a pragmatic approach and strong understanding of Compliance managementTertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, Law, Risk Management or a related disciplineExperience across the Insurance sector, preferably with deep knowledge of Private HealthExperience across: Superannuation, Banking and Financial Services would also be highly regardedFamiliarity with APRA-regulated environments is desirableStrategic thinking and analytical capabilityA strong ability to "roll your sleeves up" and work autonomouslyThe OfferAt AHSA, we're committed to excellence in Governance, Risk and Compliance Management.
