About Us
Darwin Private Hospital is a 122 patient‐bed facility, co‐located with Royal Darwin Hospital in Darwin's northern suburbs, providing high‐quality patient‐centred healthcare. Our services include a Cardiac Catheter Laboratory, Mental Health and AoD Unit, Sleep Study Unit, Rehabilitation Services, Infusion Centre and an exceptional Day Surgery Unit that serves the residents and communities of the Northern Territory, North Western Australia and Southeast Asia.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide efficient and reliable service to hospital departments to complement the strategic direction, operational processes, budget and business direction of the hospital/facility.
* Maintain stock inventory levels according to facility demands, ensuring efficient management of stock, ordering, receiving and invoice processing.
* Provide leadership in the operational direction for the department to ensure efficient and effective management of the area.
* Network with internal Distribution Operations and external supply companies, adhering to corporate contracts or negotiating for cost‐efficient prices.
* Maintain a commitment to ongoing learning and development relevant to the industry.
* Display a sound level of IT literacy.
* Work autonomously as well as in a team environment.
* Hold a Working with Children clearance.
* Demonstrate proven time management and problem‐solving ability.
* Basic knowledge of medical products is desirable.
