* Salary Level CWT 8 - $102,543 per annum (FTE) plus superannuation and annual leave loading

Are you an experienced civil worker with a proactive leadership style? This is an excellent opportunity to provide hands on leadership to ensure the provision of effective, efficient and high-quality civil services to the community. As the Work Group Leader Civil, you will be responsible for guiding and mentoring your team, fostering collaboration, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality projects.
Key responsibilities:
* Lead and coordinate daily operations within the team to ensure activities are within budget and the specified standard
* Maintain appropriate records for labour, equipment and materials
* Ensure high standards of quality and safety are maintained
* Assist in planning and executing projects
* Foster a positive, collaborative and harmonious work environment

Who you are
If you have strong leadership skills with a strong work ethic, you could be the perfect fit for our City Operations team. This role requires coordinating, scheduling, and supervising civil teams and contractors, so a strong commitment to delivering works efficiently while promoting and modelling Work Health and Safety practices at all times is essential.
As each workday provides new challenges, you may also be required to undertake operational duties and liaise with community members where required.
You must also have the minimum essential qualifications and documents as per the following:
* Diploma (or equivalent) in a related field (or currently enrolled and studying towards one)
* Appropriate qualification in Civil Construction
* Drivers licence – minimum MR (Medium Rigid)
* Appropriate licenses and certificates to operate plant and equipment associated with the position
* Temporary Traffic Management Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
* National Police Clearance (within 6 months of issue or willingness to obtain throughout recruitment)
