The Opportunity
Based at our Mackaybranch, we are seeking an experienced HR Driver with leadership experience for full-time work performing essential services throughout the region.
As a Driver - Leading Hand, you will be responsible for:
* Leading and supporting a team of drivers, along with supporting our Operations Supervisor
* Setting rosters and coordinating driver runs
* Operating waste collection vehicles such as rear and front lift
* Ensuring all prestart checks are carried out and drivers depart depot on schedule
* Assist with training new drivers and supporting ongoing team development
* Completing all records and paperwork accurately, as directed and required
About You
* Heavy Rigid (HR) Licence as a minimum
* Experience in the waste, transport or logistics industry
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Solid understanding of safety and compliance procedures
* Basic computer and mobile technology skills
* Willing to take a Pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol test
