**About the role**
The **SDA (Specialist Disability Accommodation) Officer** is responsible for effectively co-ordinating the activities required in establishing new specialist accommodation services for Activ's customers. Working collaboratively with our customers & families, Team Leaders and external stakeholders this role will be responsible for the seamless delivery of the **SDA projects** in accordance with the agreed scope and milestones for each project, as well as providing administration and support for allocated Executive Managers as required to facilitate the delivery of business needs to agreed standards.
**About You**
This role will provide the opportunity to showcase superior coordination and communication skills, utilise the ability to 'think on their feet' whilst maintaining strong attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to maintain appropriate levels of project documentation. You will be comfortable with process's and procedures, possess good written and oral communication skills and be required to contribute to procedure reviews, assist with reports and continuous improvement processes.
**Resposiblities include**:
- Schedule the program of SDA projects to optimise resource requirements having regard to other organisational activities
- Monitor and manage resource requirements for internal and external stakeholders to mitigate risk of impacts on time and quality
- Coordinate the successful move of Activ customers into identified SDA accommodation
- Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive and successful approach to SDA delivery
- Lead the Project Steering Committee, ensuring emerging issues are understood and resolved in a timely manner
- Undertake project reporting and manage and mitigate risks to successful SDA program delivery as they emerge
**Ideally you will have**:
- Previous experience in project management or supporting Executives in environment with significant stakeholder management experience
- Highly developed problem solving, analytical skills and sound business judgement
- Previous experience working in an Agile environment is highly regarded
- Previous experience in the disability sector is highly advantageous but not essential
- An understanding of NDIA funding processes is highly advantageous but not essential
