We are seeking a customer-focused and proactive **ITS Transfusion Ambassador** for our _T_ransfusion _business.
Reporting to the _Customer Experience Manager_, **this hybrid Ambassador role is responsible for providing onsite and remote services to support transfusion customers in Blood Screening laboratories located in Australia and NZ**.
The primary responsibility will be to provide support for existing AMS & DMS installations at the Australian Red Cross Lifeblood. In conjunction, providing on site Break/Fix cover for the four Ambassadors during absences will also be required.
- This is a Sydney based role. For the right person, this role can be based in Brisbane or Melbourne._
**Your responsibilities include (and not limited to)**:
- Installation, interfacing and support of Abbott Informatics and automation products including AlinIQ AMS, Alinity PRO, Accelerator a3600 (DMS) and AAS
- Demonstrating compliance with corporate / customer requirements and operating procedures
- Promptly investigating and resolving product performance issues
- Routinely utilise remote and predictive service tools to minimise the impact troubleshooting and customer downtime. Comply with cybersecurity requirements and policies
- Align work practices to deliver customer satisfaction and service performance metrics
- Identify service sales opportunities and work with the sales team to develop or close them
- Participate in high level business reviews as required.
- Attend regular departmental meetings with manager to build in continuous feedback mechanisms
**Who we’re looking for**:
- Recommended 2 years of experience working in a customer support role in the healthcare and informatics or related industries.
- Basic electronics and service of electromechanical, pneumatic, optical and fluidics systems
- Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional teams
- Proven ability to deliver outstanding levels of customer service
- Experience in Microsoft networking, systems administration, programming, data communications and working with Oracle or Microsoft databases
- Achieving Service Excellence or equivalent highly regarded
- Flexibility to travel interstate and on occasion to NZ
