Job Title: Experienced Town Planner
We are seeking an experienced Town Planner to join our client's rapidly growing Project Development company.
The successful candidate will manage strategic and statutory planning activities for developments while working with the Management Team to source new opportunities for future projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Undertake site analysis and research for large multi-residential projects, providing critical feedback on potential issues.
* Provide town planning advice, create assessments, reports, and strategies in a timely and proactive manner.
* Coordinate and prepare high-quality development applications in line with current codes and regulations.
* Manage projects through full scope of works in line with local Council legislations & regulations, ensuring the assigned scope is planned, scheduled, and delivered.
* Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely and efficient manner and uploaded into the Client's PMS.
* Liaise with all interested parties, not limited to architects, engineers, and surveyors, ensuring clear lines of communication.
* Carry out ad hoc works as required.
Requirements:
* Demonstrated experience in a Town Planner role, working on large multi-residential projects highly regarded.
* Hold a relevant Bachelor's Degree accredited by the Planning Institute of Australia (PIA), such as a Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning, Bachelor of Urban and Environmental Planning, or Bachelor of Planning.
* Ability to assess and process development applications and prepare associated correspondence and reports.
* Be able to prioritize multiple tasks, communicate effectively, and express expectations about when tasks can be delivered.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as the ability to use Dropbox and learn new systems quickly.
* Fully flexible attitude to assist with any part of the business to ensure timely build of projects and handover.
* Able to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times.
