ANIMAL PRODUCTION ADVISOR (CENTRAL WEST NSW)
About the Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused professional to join AGnVET Services, one of Australia’s leading agribusiness companies. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of our animal health and livestock solutions business while supporting producers across Central West New South Wales.
As an Animal Production Specialist or Advisor (depending on experience), you will play a key role in delivering technical expertise and building strong relationships with livestock producers and branch teams. You will support the growth of AGpack Livestock Solutions in line with the AGnVET Animal Health Strategy.
The position will work closely with the following AGnVET branches: Condobolin, Coonamble, Dubbo, Gilgandra, Lake Cargelligo, Narromine, Nyngan, and Warren. (Open to based location of the role to be within the branches listed).

Key Responsibilities
* Provide professional animal production advice and technical support to staff and livestock producers to improve productivity, profitability, and sustainability.
* Support branch teams, Regional Managers, and Key Account Managers to implement and expand the AGpack Livestock Services offering.
* Collaborate with branch staff to develop and execute animal production business and sales plans to capture market growth opportunities.
* Develop and maintain key customer management plans with livestock producers.
* Deliver internal training workshops for branch teams.
* Coordinate and facilitate producer information sessions and workshops.
* Build and maintain strong industry relationships and internal networks.
* Champion safety standards and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
About You
We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused professional with a passion for livestock production and a strong commitment to supporting producers to achieve profitable and sustainable outcomes. You enjoy working closely with farmers, understanding their production systems, and providing practical, evidence-based solutions that improve herd or flock performance.
Qualifications and Experience
* Tertiary qualifications in Agricultural Science or a related field, preferably majoring in Animal Production or Nutrition.
* Experience in the animal health or nutrition sector, ideally in an advisory or consulting role.

* Strong customer service and account management capabilities.
* Proven ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
* Ability to identify business growth opportunities and achieve sales targets.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
