About this Role:
We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Brunel, a leading organisation in the pharmaceutical sector. As a key player in critical engineering projects, you will be responsible for overseeing equipment-focused work packages.
This includes managing the full lifecycle of equipment - from design and procurement to installation, commissioning, and qualification - ensuring each phase is delivered to scope, cost, and time requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage equipment-related work packages from planning through to commissioning and qualification
* Coordinate factory acceptance testing (FAT), delivery, installation, and commissioning of new equipment
* Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigations to ensure on-time project delivery
* Interface with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders to align on deliverables
* Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with GMP standards where applicable
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Chemical, Process, or Mechanical)
* 3-10 years' experience in a similar role within industrial sectors
* Experience in pharmaceutical or biotech is highly desirable
* Strong background with packaging lines or related equipment
* Experience from similar industries such as food & beverage or dairy will also be considered
* Proven ability to manage multiple project stages with minimal supervision
