The Role
An opportunity exists for a casual Coal Quality Tester to work at our on-site laboratory based at Helensburgh in New South Wales. If you have a drive to produce quality results and a strong team spirit, we would like to hear from you. Reporting to the Laboratory Supervisor, you will be involved in aspects of Quality, Turnaround Time, Client Service and Productivity.
Key Responsibilities
* Collect coal samples in accordance with site and company procedures.
* Complete PTL preparation work (sample preparation and handling) to required standards.
* Conduct coal laboratory analysis following applicable methods and quality requirements.
* Perform and participate in safety interactions (e.g., pre‐starts, hazard identification, Take 5/JSA, toolbox talks) and comply with all HSE requirements.
* Maintain accurate records, labels, chain‐of‐custody, and reporting to ensure traceability and data integrity.
* Meet client expectations by delivering results within agreed turnaround times.
* Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness of work areas and ensure equipment is cared for and fit‐for‐purpose.

* Previous industry experience would be an advantage
