Job Description
We are seeking a casual staff member to work with the Community Services Team. The role provides support across key cultural and tourism facilities, including the Bob McDonald Library, Dr David Harvey-Sutton Gallery, Cloncurry Unearthed Visitor Information Centre and Museum, and John Flynn Place Museum and Art Gallery.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will assist patrons with library services, promote local attractions, manage visitor information, handle retail and cash transactions, and maintain museum and library spaces. They will also support event coordination, venue administration, and customer service while ensuring a welcoming and engaging environment for all visitors.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will have strong communication skills, a passion for tourism and local history, and an interest in library services. You will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and possess a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
