We are currently seeking experienced and dealer-trained Diesel Mechanics/Motor Mechanics & Auto Electricians to join our clients in Hunter Valley Region including Newcastle and surrounding areas, NSW. Key Responsibilities in this role: Servicing, maintenance, and tuning of light and heavy vehicles, including diesel-powered engines, in line with manufacturer standards Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults, including fault code tracing Rebuilding and repairing engines, transmissions, steering, and suspension components Adjusting brakes, conducting wheel alignments (including laser alignment), and general system calibrations Performing general vehicle repairs and preventative maintenance, including the replacement of worn or faulty parts Diesel Mechanics : Specialise in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines across 4WDs, trucks, earthmoving, and agricultural equipment Auto Electricians : Install, maintain, diagnose, and repair electrical and electronic vehicle systems, including for trailers, caravans, and heavy equipment Testing vehicles under real driving conditions after repairs to ensure proper function What We’re Looking For: A current Motor Mechanic Trade Certificate or equivalent Minimum 1 year of relevant employment experience in the field Strong expertise in maintaining and repairing diesel engines, 4WDs, trucks, and both European and Japanese makes Excellent brand-specific diagnostic and fault-finding abilities Capability to work independently and under pressure in a busy workshop Good organisational skills and ability to contribute to a team environment Manufacturer or dealership training and experience is essential What’s on Offer: Full-time positions with competitive salaries from $70,000 to $90,000, depending on skills and experience Work on a diverse range of vehicles and equipment in reputable workshops Stable employment and potential for long-term career growth Only skilled, experienced, and company/dealer-trained technicians will be considered.
