Seeking an experienced
Senior Functional Sage Intacct Consultant
to lead and deliver end-to-end Sage Intacct implementations and optimisation projects for a permanent role in Sydney. This is a role suited to a hands-on functional expert who can translate business requirements into effective financial system solutions while acting as a trusted advisor to clients and stakeholders.
You will play a key role in solution design, implementation leadership, client engagement, and mentoring junior consultants.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead
full lifecycle Sage Intacct implementations
, including discovery, design, configuration, testing, go-live, and post-implementation support
* Gather, analyse, and document
business and financial requirements
, translating them into scalable Sage Intacct solutions
* Configure core Sage Intacct modules including
GL, AP, AR, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Projects, Multi-Entity, and Reporting
* Act as a
functional subject-matter expert
, advising clients on best practices, process improvements, and system optimisation
* Deliver client workshops, system demonstrations, and end-user training sessions
* Collaborate with technical consultants on integrations, data migration, and customisations
* Support and mentor junior consultants and contribute to internal knowledge sharing
* Manage stakeholder relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
* Assist with pre-sales activities such as solution scoping, effort estimation, and client presentations where required
Required Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as a
Senior Sage Intacct Functional Consultant
* Strong understanding of
finance, accounting principles, and financial operations
* Hands-on experience delivering
multiple Sage Intacct implementations
* Expertise in configuring and supporting core Sage Intacct modules
* Experience working with
multi-entity, multi-currency, and complex reporting environments
* Strong client-facing skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly
* Ability to lead workshops and guide stakeholders through change
* Experience working in consulting or professional services environments

* Sage Intacct
certifications
* Experience with
integrations
(e.g. Salesforce, payroll systems, expense management tools)
* Exposure to industries such as SaaS, professional services, non-profit, or financial services
* Previous experience mentoring or leading consultants
