Job Description:
This role requires a responsible and driven individual to undertake tasks in relation to sampling, testing, training, supervising, maintenance of records, and reporting of results for concrete and quarry-related products.
* Conduct sampling of concrete samples onsite
* Perform testing in accordance with laboratory work instructions, test methods, preparation instructions, and manuals
* Calibrate laboratory equipment as required
* Maintain, observe, and take part in statutory safety requirements of the Laboratory operations
* Follow Inspection and Test Plans to carry out production and compliance testing and
* Maintain the laboratory in accordance with NATA accreditation requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To excel in this position, you should have experience as a concrete field tester or within a construction-based trade. A commitment to safety and quality is essential. You must possess in-depth knowledge of computer systems for monitoring and reporting of data, especially with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel etc. Good time management and organisational skills are also necessary. An ability to cope with competing priorities and deadlines is crucial. Knowledge of Australian and Industry standards, as well as Aggregates testing, would be an advantage. A current driver's license and tool of trade vehicle provided is a bonus.
