Your New Role
We are seeking an experienced Drill and Blast Engineer to play a key role in the ongoing growth and success of our coal mining operation. In this position, you will be responsible for the planning, optimisation, and execution of drill and blast activities while working closely with site operations teams.
Key responsibilities include:
* Strategic planning, optimisation, and monitoring of drill and blast activities
* Developing drill and blast designs, schedules, and plans in collaboration with operational teams
* Providing clear and effective plans to site personnel and monitoring performance against targets
What You'll Need to Succeed
* Bachelor of Engineering (Mining or Civil)
* Demonstrated experience in coal mining within a Mine Engineer role
* Strong working knowledge of Vulcan, Deswik, Blastlogic, or equivalent software
* Current Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain)
* Current Queensland driver licence
