About the Aboriginal Workforce Manager Position
The Aboriginal Workforce Manager is a key role in our organization, responsible for implementing the Aboriginal Employee Plan. This plan aims to increase Aboriginal employment, leadership, and retention in line with the strategic plan goals.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Manage the Aboriginal Workforce Team by providing leadership, coordination, training, and support as required.
* Implement the Aboriginal Employment Plan to achieve its objectives.
* Build relationships with managers and senior leaders to promote Aboriginal employment, development, and retention.
* Liaise with educational institutions, funding bodies, and other third parties to promote Aboriginal employment, development, and retention.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and initiatives to promote Aboriginal employment, development, and retention.
* Report on the Aboriginal Employment Plan and provide ad-hoc reporting as required.
* Ensure that actions from the human resources business plan are completed within appropriate timeframes.
