Job Description:
The Compound Coordinator plays a key supporting role to the Compound Supervisor, assisting with day-to-day operations and administration of the compound. The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service in transport operations in any industry or be ready to step up to this level.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support operational processes and systems to ensure full compliance with customer contracts and service standards
* Lead or participate in toolbox talks and operational meetings, following up on issues and driving KPI improvements
* Collect and analyze performance data to support the Compound Supervisor and Operations Manager in improving key metrics such as cost per vehicle, cars per hour, and damage reduction
* Manage transit damage claims and non-conformance reporting, driving root cause analysis and resolution
* Coordinate weekly stocktake programs to maintain accurate inventory records
* Assist with training delivery and staff evaluations
