An exciting opportunity is available for a motivated and passionate clinician to join our highly experienced OT team. The successful applicant will be innovative, a self-starter and flexible in their approach to meeting the challenges of a busy and exciting service and carry a mixed caseload. This is a fixed term contract with the potential to extend.
As an Occupational Therapist your responsibilities will include:
* Comprehensive Occupational Therapy rehabilitation services to inpatients and outpatients of varied diagnostic groups
* Maximise the occupational performance of patients, adopting a client-centred and goal directed approach
* Participate in program development and quality improvement activities within the Occupational Therapy Department and hospital
* Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and professional development programs

Selection Criteria:
* Bachelor in Occupational Therapy or equivalent
* Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
* Excellent clinical practice skills in rehabilitation
* Well-developed communication skills and interpersonal skills
* Excellent organisation, time management and self-management skills
* Autonomy in work practice
* Current drivers licence
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Highly developed communication skills and interpersonal skills
* Commitment to interdisciplinary teamwork
