About The Role
KnG Group is seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Manager to join our team. As the HR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving our people strategy and fostering a culture of excellence within the organisation. You will be responsible for developing and implementing HR policies, providing advice and assistance to the leadership team and developing programs that align with the company's goals and objectives, while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Additionally, you will lead initiatives to attract, retain, and develop top talent, as well as promote employee engagement and satisfaction. This role requires a candidate with a strong HR background, excellent interpersonal skills, and a commitment to fostering a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in alignment with organisational objectives and legal requirements.
* Provide professional advice and direction in relation to end-to-end recruitment and selection process, including posting, sourcing, interviewing, and developing an onboarding program and assisting with the onboarding of new employees including for rapid establishment of special projects.
* Provide guidance and advice to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including performance management, employee relations, and performance and career development.
* Generate monthly HR reports to executive management and analyse data to guide decision-making.
* Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction, including employee recognition programs, training and development initiatives, and wellness programs.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Provide direction and support in relation to employee concerns, and/or grievances in a fair and timely manner.
* Collaborate with department managers across the Group to identify staffing needs and workforce planning.
* Consult with senior leadership to develop and implement strategic workforce planning initiatives.
* Lead and participate in HR projects and initiatives aimed at continuous improvement and innovation.
* Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in HR and provide recommendations for enhancements to HR programs and processes.
* Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations governing employment practices.
Requirements
* Formal tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
* Preferred 5 years of progressive HR experience, with 3 years in a leadership role.
* Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
* Proven track record of developing and implementing HR policies and programs.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organisation.
* Develop positive relationships with colleagues.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ensure that any sensitive information is managed appropriately, ensuring confidentiality and privacy.
