Job Title: Senior People and Culture Business Partner
About the Role
HR Partners by Randstad is representing a strong market name in retail, logistics, and supply chain for this senior role. Based at Macquarie Park, you will partner closely with the CEO and senior leaders across three business units. Your focus will be on driving culture, engagement, talent management, and leadership development across NSW, VIC, WA, and SA.
Responsibilities
1. Manage client portfolio and stakeholder engagement for three business units.
2. Travel bi-monthly to interstate sites and local sites for operational requirements.
3. Develop annual people plans for partnered teams.
4. Implement organisational structure, workforce planning, and change management initiatives.
5. Coach and support leadership on employee life cycle matters, including ER, IR, OHS, risk mitigation, performance management, and improvements.
6. Built and implement HR solutions and internal policy process improvements.
7. Talent and workforce planning: Partner with talent acquisition team for recruitment needs, employee engagement, and retention programs.
8. Lead core people appraisals - performance management, reviews, compensation planning, bonus.
9. Understand workplace relations matters, especially ER and IR grievance handling and case management, Awards, and EBA interpretations/advisory, and union dealings.
Requirements
1. A true HR generalist with minimum 10 years experience.
2. Strong HR knowledge, skills, and experience.
3. Ideal candidate comes from similar industry/sector (blue collar and unionised): FMCG, Retail, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Logistics.
4. Learning agile, self-starter with proactive approach.
5. Comfortable with ambiguity and data-driven decision-making.
6. Ability to work in relaxed and colloquial environment.
7. Ideal candidate has driver's license for travel to other sites in NSW and other states.
