We're looking for a Senior Insurance Broker to join our team — someone who sees broking as more than just placing policies. You'll manage the full spectrum of insurance broking, from prospecting new business development through to claims advocacy, always putting clients first.
What you'll be doing:
* Managing a diverse client portfolio across personal, agriculture, commercial, and specialist lines
* Conducting thorough risk assessments and delivering tailored insurance solutions
* Negotiating with insurers to secure the best outcomes for your clients
* Building long‐term relationships built on trust and expertise
* Mentoring team members and contributing to our broking standards
* Handling renewals, mid‐term adjustments and claims support with a proactive approach
What you'll need:
* Tier 1 and Tier 2 qualifications (non‐negotiable)
* Experience with the INSIGHT Broking Platform desired (not a deal breaker)
* Proven experience across all aspects of insurance broking
* Strong technical knowledge of Australian insurance products and markets
* Exceptional communication skills — you can explain complex coverage in plain English
* A genuine client‐first mindset that drives everything you do
* Confidence working independently while being a collaborative team player
