We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Trades Assistant to join our team in a full-time permanent position, supporting our workshop and field operations.
About You
* Minimum C Class Driver’s Licence, Truck license and advantage
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
* Forklift Licence (highly regarded)
* Previous experience in a workshop, construction, or civil environment (Preferred)
* Experience working with plant and equipment or earthmoving machinery (advantageous)
* White Card (required)
* Motivated self-starter with a an-do attitude and strong communication skills
* Commitment to safety, quality, and compliance standards
About the Role
Reporting to the Plant & Logistics Manager, your responsibilities will include:
* Assisting with the maintenance and servicing of plant and equipment
* Supporting tradespeople in both workshop and field environments
* Carrying out general workshop duties including cleaning, preparing, and organising equipment
* Assisting with basic mechanical tasks and inspections
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant workspace at all times
