You will be in charge of our financial administration, working closely with our Managing Director, General Manager, Group Accountant, Accounts Receivable and external partners to ensure our operations remain profitable and compliant. We aren't just looking for someone to crunch numbers; we want a team player who can monitor the \"big picture,\" manage cash flow, and provide insights that help us grow.
As a key support person in our West Leederville office, you will also handle a small number of office admin tasks, ensuring the agency runs like a well-oiled machine.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management: Sending company invoices, processing fortnightly payroll, monthly staff commissions, and working closely with our Accounts Receivable team member.
Reporting & Insight: Maintaining Xero records, reconciling accounts, and monitoring cash flow to make recommendations to management. Sending weekly, monthly and quarterly financial and operational reports to our management teams.
Compliance: Assisting with IAS, BAS, FBT, payroll tax, and EOFY reporting while liaising with our Group Accountant, external accountants and auditors.
Operational Support: Managing supplier invoices, payment schedules, and budgeting.
Office & Culture Admin: Stepping in to assist with general office keeping, supporting our charity organisation initiatives, and handling ad-hoc administration tasks to support the team.
Skills & Experience
Minimum 2 years in Bookkeeping (marketing agency or service provider experience is a plus!).
Strong knowledge of Xero and Excel is essential.
Experience with payroll processing and compliance, including leave management.
Ability to not only reconcile accounts but also understand cash flow and provide commercial recommendations.
A restless urge to get things right and a positive response to deadlines.
