Desired Skills and Experience

Job Skill Set Requirements

* Ability to learn, perform, and oversee all gym functions
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Proficiency in PC applications (Microsoft Office)

Remit

* Promote our mission of impactful, fun, affordable fitness
* Uphold and cultivate our House of Values
* Support the philosophy, mission, and vision of Planet Fitness
* Oversee gym operations according to policies
* Complete administrative tasks and reports
* Supervise and train team members; schedule staff
* Conduct semi-annual team evaluations
* Ensure excellent member service and club appearance
* Authorize expenditures and manage marketing efforts
* Handle member inquiries and resolve issues
* Maintain records, manage payroll coordination
* Ensure timely opening and closing of the gym
* Participate in various tasks as needed

Experience

* 3-5 years in a similar role

Internal candidates must have completed the AGM checklist. Certification requirements include First Aid and CPR (current and proof required), Working With Children (NSW & VIC WWC, QLD Blue Card or proof of application), and a recent National Police Check (within 12 months).
