We're on the hunt for a reliable, skilled and self-motivated **Mobile Maintenance Officer** to join our Property and Facilities team at **UnitingSA**. This hands-on role is perfect for someone with solid building and maintenance experience who enjoys variety in their day and takes pride in doing a job well.
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you'll handle both day-to-day maintenance issues and scheduled works across our sites - ensuring everything is safe, compliant, and up to standard. You'll also help coordinate tasks with maintenance assistants and be a go-to person for on-the-ground fixes.
**What the role involves**:
- Responding to maintenance requests and carrying out reactive and planned maintenance
- Maintaining buildings and facilities to a high standard in line with safety regulations
- Scheduling and prioritising work, including procurement of materials
- Supporting preventative maintenance programs
- Using job logging systems (training provided) and keeping accurate records
- Liaising with site staff and contractors to get the job done right, first time
**What you'll bring**:
- Trade qualification or 5+ years' building and maintenance experience
- Strong knowledge of tools, materials, and building codes
- Confidence reading plans and following instructions
- Excellent time management and ability to work independently
- Sound communication skills and basic computer literacy
- A current SA Driver's Licence (essential)
- Valid DHS Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
