BMF is looking for a talented Photography Assistant to join our world-class creative studios based in Chippendale.
You'll be the right-hand person to our photographer, assisting with all aspects of photographic shoots from setting up props, sets and lighting, coordinating talent and ensuring shoots are running to brief and on time. This is the perfect opportunity for a confident and ambitious self-starter.
We are looking for someone who can take direction, is able to pitch in wherever required, has a keen eye for photography and a thirst for knowledge. **What you'll do**:
- Assist the photographer with the weekly campaign needs for shoots
- Manage timelines, equipment, studio bookings and set up
- Set up studio and on location, including props and lighting
- Help maintain sets and props; including painting, lighting, assisting talent with hair & make-up, coordination of stylists
- Provide feedback on any issues which may affect time or quality of delivery
**What you'll need**:
- A qualification in Visual Arts or Photography
- A current, valid drivers' licence; as this role will often require travel to a variety of shoot locations and the transportation of set material
- Basic photoshop skills and knowledge
- Experience in a similar role would be highly regarded but not essential
