What You7ll Be Doing
The Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) is responsible for the coordination of patient services, unit management and nursing staff management within the Opioid Agonist Treatment Service, consistent with the strategic directions of Mid North Coast Local Health District.
The NUM takes overall responsibility for the health care environment and standard of patient care, acts as a clinical leader and manager with accountability for quality and safety, patient flow, change management and the experience of patients on Opioid Agonist Treatment.
The NUM coordinates patient care, unit management and leadership of nursing and midwifery to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient use of resources.
The NUM reports to the Nurse Manager 3, Opioid Agonist Treatment, and SUPPS Services, and works closely with other Opioid Agonist Treatment Nurse Unit Managers across the District.
