As the Financial Accountant, you will be a detail-driven and forward-thinking professional who will maintain the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of our financial records and systems. In this key role, you'll ensure accurate, compliant financial data and reporting, strengthening transparency and enhancing financial performance.

Duties involved, but not limited to:
* Preparation of Financial Reports
* Provide reporting on KPI's, variances and changes in the financial reports as well as recommendation for causes and improvements
* Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting obligations
* Assist with CAPEX management functions and reporting
* Assist with FBT management functions and reporting
* AP/AR functions as required
* Compliance functions as required
* Prepare accruals and journals as required
* Review prepared financial statements
* Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
* Other ad-hoc finance duties as required
The successful applicant must demonstrate the following:
* Prior experience in similar role required
* Sound knowledge of accounting principles, including month-end and year-end processes
* Strong understanding of Australian Accounting Standards and financial legislation
* Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
* Membership of a recognised professional accounting body (e.g. CPA Australia, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand) highly regarded
* Previous experience in a dynamic, fast pace environment, with the ability to meet tight deadlines
* Solid communication skills, a can-do attitude and high attention to detail
* Professional and reliable work ethic
* Friendly, approachable personality who enjoys being part of a close knit supportive team
* Current National Police Check or willingness to obtain one
