Community Leadership Opportunity
The Tasmanian Community Fund focuses on strengthening Tasmanian communities by investing in projects that bring positive change.
As a Southern Board Member, you will contribute to guiding the Fund's strategy and engage with local communities to ensure the objectives of the Fund are met.
This role requires a collaborative approach, critical thinking, sound judgement, and a commitment to community.
Key Responsibilities:
* Set and review the strategic direction of the Fund.
* Assess and approve grant applications from various stakeholders.
* Monitor performance and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
* Attend site visits, presentations, and community events to foster relationships.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Contemporary governance and strategic planning expertise.
* Understanding of social, economic, and wellbeing needs of Tasmanian communities.
* Legal, accounting, financial management, quality management, media or IT skills.
* Effective stakeholder engagement and leadership abilities.
