This location will provide comprehensive tyre services, vehicle servicing & maintenance, and comprehensive repairs, by a highly supportive team.
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Motor Mechanic / Automotive Technician to join our foundational team. Not only will you be joining a small close-knit team, where taking pride in your workmanship will be valued, you will also have the opportunity to have input on the workshop setup and workflow.
Key Responsibilities
* Performing vehicle diagnostics and fault-finding using modern diagnostic tools.
* Executing all general mechanical repairs, scheduled maintenances, and servicing on a diverse range of light vehicles.
* Ensuring all repair and maintenance work strictly adheres to manufacturer guidelines, industry standards, and relevant Australian Safety Standards.
* Take ownership of assigned jobs following through methodically from start to finish, ensuring high-quality control and efficient completion within quoted timeframes.
* Maintaining accurate work orders, parts logs, and service records for compliance and transparency.
* Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment at all times.
* A clear & concise communicator who is comfortable talking to customers about technical findings and recommending repair options.
* A proactive team member, willing to assist colleagues and share knowledge to foster a productive & supportive environment.
What You\'ll Bring
* Experience: Minimum of 3+ years' post-qualification experience as a Motor Mechanic or Automotive Technician.
* Skills: Proven strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with hands-on experience using diagnostic scanning tools.
* Licence: Current and valid Australian manual 'C' driver's licence.
* You must hold unrestricted Australian work rights with no visa limitations to be considered & having your tyre fitting certificate would be preferred.
