The Open Banking team is responsible for ensuring BOQ meets its regulatory obligations and supports our customers and internal teams for CDR-related activities. This role presents an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of the bank's stance and to inform the strategic approach toward Open Banking.Reporting to the Senior Product Manager Channels, you will drive operational excellence through process optimisation, control strengthening, and targeted improvements across the Open Banking ecosystem. Your work will directly strengthen BOQ's regulatory compliance posture while enhancing the efficiency, clarity and scalability of our operating model.In this role, you will work closely with Technology, Data Compliance, Regulatory Affairs, Product and other internal stakeholders to ensure our Open Banking environment remains robust and compliant. The role will also expose you to engagement with regulators and the broader financial industry to guide the strategic landscape for CDR.You will conduct proactive reviews, resolve discrepancies, and lead initiatives that uplift processes, controls and documentation. As a subject matter expert for Open Banking, you will also support high‐impact technical deliveries and ensure new initiatives align with legislative and regulatory requirements.You will take ownership of end‐to‐end process reviews, identify gaps in current workflows, and deliver improved solutions and policies that empower business teams to self‐assess and self‐service Open Banking enquiries. You will also play a key role in managing in‐flight incidents, supporting BAU enquiries, and contributing to regular compliance and performance reporting.This is a hands‐on, relationship‐driven role suited to someone who thrives on improving operational frameworks, strengthening governance, and enabling teams to work smarter and more effectively.**About You**You bring a strong foundation in product, process or operational roles within Financial Services, with 3–5 years of experience navigating regulated environments and driving meaningful operational uplift. Experience in Open Banking or the Consumer Data Right is highly regarded, as is exposure to emerging technologies such as Agentic AI to enhance operational efficiency.You hold tertiary qualifications in Finance, Business or a related discipline, and you communicate with clarity and confidence, both in writing and verbally, and you're comfortable engaging directly with senior stakeholders across the business.Your organisational skills are a standout. Your background includes experience in identifying gaps, weaknesses and improvement opportunities within existing processes and policies. You're comfortable working autonomously, managing your own priorities, and keeping stakeholders informed as you progress toward deadlines.Analytically minded, you excel at breaking down problem statements, assessing root causes and proposing practical, well‐reasoned solutions. You're experienced in managing stakeholders across compliance, legal, technology and external vendor groups, and you bring a collaborative, solutions‐focused approach to BAU interactions.You have a proven track record of leading and delivering small‐to‐medium initiatives, particularly those centred on process optimisation or change management.
