About the Position
We are seeking a full time, experienced receptionist to complement our team. You will be the first point of contact for our clients and play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our clinic.
Applicants must have Australian work rights to be eligible for this position.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing outstanding customer service over the phone and face-to-face
- Welcoming clients and their pets to the clinic
- Managing appointments for clinical staff
- Liaising with vets and vet nurses to ensure efficient daily scheduling
- Processing invoices and payments
- Ensuring a neat and tidy presentation of the reception and waiting areas
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a customer service role (essential)
- Vet clinic or animal care industry knowledge is advantageous but not essential- an affinity for animals and their care is most important
- A friendly, caring, and positive 'can do' attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a mature approach for tricky conversations
- Ability to multi-task with excellent time management skills and attention to detail
- Commitment to promoting a positive workplace culture and contributing to our team environment
