About This Role
We are seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team at Brighter Beginnings.
As a Speech Pathologist, you will deliver high-quality comprehensive speech pathology services to patients, clients and carers of the Southern NSW Local Health District (SNSWLHD), promote optimal health outcomes, supervise staff and students, and assist with operational matters while maintaining a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
* Tertiary degree in speech pathology with eligibility for practicing membership of Speech Pathology Australia
* Excellent negotiation, decision-making and advocacy skills, including collaborative stakeholder consultation and proven ability in liaising with multi-agency stakeholders and building capacity across different providers
* Demonstrated high-level verbal and written communication skills, time management, computer literacy, and ability to analyse and interpret evidence-based practice
* Demonstrated recent and relevant experience in management of complex paediatric clinical practice, including case management in the community
* Demonstrated experience supervising staff and/or students
* Proven experience in the delivery and evaluation of education sessions to a variety of staff groups
* Demonstrated experience participating in the planning, implementation and evaluation of local service delivery incorporating the quality improvement process and evidence-based practice
