Base salary ranges from $85,566 to $91,466 per annum plus superannuation.
Additional allowances up to $25,103 per annum.

The City of Karratha is seeking a motivated and organised Community Development Support Officer to support the delivery of meaningful community programs, initiatives and projects that enhance the wellbeing, safety and connectedness of our community.

About the Role
Reporting to the Community Development Coordinator, the Community Development Support Officer provides administrative and project support across a range of community development and youth service initiatives.
You will assist with program coordination, stakeholder engagement, reporting, meeting administration and project delivery while supporting the broader Community Development and Youth Services team.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality administrative support including agendas, minute taking, record keeping and report preparation
* Assist with the planning and delivery of community development and social initiatives
* Coordinate and support small community programs and projects
* Prepare project plans, business cases, acquittals and scoping documents
* Support subsidy and rebate payment processes
* Build positive relationships with internal stakeholders and community groups
* Participate in meetings and occasional after‐hours community functions
About You
We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive and community‐minded with excellent communication and administration skills.
* Strong administration and organisational skills
* Experience managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
* Excellent written communication and report writing abilities
* Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
* Problem‐solving capability and attention to detail
* A current C Class Driver's Licence
* A current National Police Clearance (within 6 months)
