Key Responsibilities
The Executive Director Community Services will be responsible for delivering safe, high-quality, trauma-informed and culturally sensitive services that align with the organisation's strategic direction and values. The role involves leading a large, diverse and engaged team, fostering a culture of excellence, inclusion and continuous improvement.
The successful candidate will have the ability to build and sustain trusted partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, including community partners, government agencies, consumers and partner services across the region.
The incumbent will be innovative and visionary in approach, supporting new ways of working and models of care. They will empower teams to develop creative solutions to complex problems, driving greater health impact for the community.
Main Tasks:
* Lead a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
* Develop new models of care and ways of working for greater community outcomes.
* Partner across the region to deliver high-quality services.
Requirements:
* Experience within a health service or community health environment.
* Demonstrated leadership in system thinking, clinical redesign and co-design methodologies at a Director or Executive level.
* Able to provide culturally sensitive and values-based leadership.
Qualifications:
* Qualifications in nursing, allied health, public health or equivalent.
* Post-graduate qualifications in leadership, business governance or public health.
